TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VOLUNTARY SUBMISSION OF UNSOLICITED IDEAS

YOU ARE EXPRESSLY CAUTIONED AND NOTIFIED TO NOT SEND TAG ANY IDEA SUBMISSION THAT YOU BELIEVE IS PROPRIETARY TO YOU OR OTHERS, WHICH YOU EXPECT TAG TO KEEP CONFIDENTIAL, OR FOR WHICH YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE COMPENSATION.

Please be aware that TAG does not solicit ideas. TAG only accepts unsolicited ideas in rare and limited circumstances, and only according to the terms and conditions contained herein and contained in the Website Terms of Use (found at http://www.leer.com/ LEER-Idea-submission).

Because of the volume of unsolicited idea submissions that TAG receives, TAG does not recognize or compensate submitters for ideas, and cannot guarantee that TAG will be able to review or evaluate your idea.

As you may be aware, TAG has a talented group of engineers dedicated to performing research and development (“R&D”), which has led to many new and innovative truck accessory products. Given these efforts, it is possible that TAG’s employees are working on or have already developed the very idea that you would like to submit. TAG keeps its R&D work secret, typically until TAG makes a new product announcement. A new product, however, could be in the R&D pipeline for several years. Therefore, your idea, or something similar, may already be known to us without the general public being aware of it. It is also possible that your idea may already be disclosed in prior publications or might already be in public use. If you believe that your idea may be entitled to protection, you are responsible for seeking and obtaining that protection. We strongly encourage you to consult a qualified intellectual property attorney before submitting any idea to TAG.

Nevertheless, to avoid any potential misunderstandings that could arise from your submission, should you submit your idea through the processes set forth in this Policy, you acknowledge that: (a) TAG will not consider any new product ideas on a confidential basis; (b) under no circumstances is a confidential relationship established, or will be established, either expressly or by implication, between you and TAG by this Policy or otherwise; (c) no TAG employee has authority to enter into a verbal confidentiality agreement with you; and (d) TAG will not compensate you if it chooses to use your submission, in whole or in part.

TAG does not promise to keep your submission confidential, to use your submission, or to compensate you if it does use your submission. By acknowledging this Policy, you hereby waive any and all rights and remedies relating to confidentiality of a voluntary idea submission.
